Island People Travel Group was created by Maurice Durant, a proud island boy, media producer, creative artist & entrepreneur with an interest in travel, exploring cultures & building relationships for improving Caribbean life & unity. He started out freelancing at CMC (Caribbean Media Corporation) 15 years ago, then setting out on a journey of personal growth, he used his talents to build various media & culture products & companies.
In 2016 he decided to fully dedicate his time to create 2 international businesses, one of which is the culture & adventure agency you see before you, the other is a virtual reality company called Caribbean VR where he now specializes in building Caribbean media products for culture, heritage & tourism organizations & businesses that help them better promote themselves on the world stage.
